## Сполучення йо, ьо

| **Для позначення звукосполучення \[йо] пишеться «йо»**                           | **Для позначення мякостi попереднього приголосного пишеться «ьо»** |

| <p> На початку слова:<br>його, йод.</p>                                          | <p> В усiх iнших випадках:<br>шiстьох, льох.</p>                   |
| <p> Пiсля приголосного (найчастiше на початку складу):<br>серйозний, курйоз.</p> |                                                                    |

Літеру **й** на місці пропуску треба писати в усіх словах рядка: ..ого, ..од, баталь..он медаль..он, ль..одовиковий, га..овий гал..орка, кра..овий, оши..ок міль..он, сер..озний, маль..овничий
